Musically, the track channels her top-class piano and drum abilities to give a compositional depth uncommon in the modern R&B style in which she sits, while her lyrical craft projects an impressive message of positivity. The video is the main attraction, with the nineteen-year-old stating “I wanted the visuals for “Too Good” to project the positive message of the song, and express who I am in an authentic but engaging way. We aimed to capture a balance of fun and youthful shots, to reflect the confidence and vulnerability in the song”.
